Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Serving Size: For 4 people

Ingredients:

  • 2 large sweet potatoes

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • salt and pepper to taste

Equipment:

  • Oven 
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Knife
  • Mixing bowl

Instructions

1) Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C)

2) Peel and cut sweet potatoes into thin strips (around 1 cm thick)

3) In a mixing bowl, toss sweet potato strips with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper

4) Spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer

5) Bake for 15-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy

Fruit Smoothie

Serving Size: For 1-2 people

Ingredients

  • 1 banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup milk 
  • 1/4 cup yogurt (greek or flavored)
  • Optional: fruits of choice

Equipment:

  • Blender
  • Cup

Instructions

1) Add the banana, milk, yogurt, and any optional fruits to the blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

 

Tips:

  • For a creamier texture, use frozen fruit instead of fresh.
  • If using a frozen banana, slice it before freezing for easier blending.
  • If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk. If it’s too thin, add more fruit or yogurt.
